I’m writing again regarding my earlier message.

I don’t usually reach out to authors without a clear reason. When I do, it’s because a book has genuinely stayed with me and feels worth a thoughtful exchange. I’m intentional about where I place my time and attention, especially within the writing community.

It would be disappointing if my previous note was simply lost or set aside without acknowledgment. When one writer takes the time to engage another’s work seriously, even a brief reply feels like a basic professional courtesy.
